„His response is humbleness” Pilinszky and Dostoevsky

Abstract
Strangely similar thinking characterizes the creators and thinkers who had a serious “influence” on the oeuvre of János Pilinszky. This is one of the very difficult questions when analyzing the relationship between Pilinszky and Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky. From another point of view, the condition of the question is also complicated by the fact that Pilinszky and Dostoevsky composed (also) texts of different genres (novel, article, poem). From a third perspective, it is again questionable what we mean by “influence”. These dilemmas forced me first to contextualize Pilinszky’s relationship with Dostoevsky’s texts with a philological introduction, which I sought to nuance with the parallels of Weil’s oeuvre. Then I focused on the analysis of Pilinszky's poem In memoriam F. M Dostoevsky's, which is not thematically related, but from a poetic point of view
