Abstract

Symbols weave through our lives, our reading, our culture, our way of thinking, yet we do not understand or know exactly the meaning of one or another symbol. Symbols can be deciphered and learned over and over again. The Symbols Library provides help for this as a kind of dictionary, a repository. Edit Újvári is the editor and author of several cultural history handbooks and a member of several scientific communities. Her work, which wraps up the meanings of symbols, evokes the activity of weaving in a symbolic form.
