Abstract

We have several news reports from various regions of the country about the obligations of guild members related to religious life. Among the guild insignia, the various guild flags, which were the most sacred insignia of the guilds and often depict patron saints, represent a value that can be highlighted due to their multiple religious aspects. The obligation of the guilds to make flags in the XVIII. from the middle of the century, almost all letters of privilege required it. For the most part, guild flags were not among the pinnacle of artistic creations. Religious images, signs, and symbols can also be found on other guild objects, such as: candle holders, guild seals, guild chests, lodging badges, and written guild documents. The study provides examples of these.
