Approaches between the alternatives of philosophy of art and interpretation Discussion of Nóra Horváth and Lajos Mitnyán

Abstract

This discussion and approximation is based on the different points of view of Nóra Horváth, the author of issue 2021. 1-2 our journal, and Lajos Mitnyán, one of reviewer of her paper. Nóra Horváth's paper entitled The meanings of the notion of transversality in the art of Pál Frenák and its reviewer's commentary primarily raised the methodological problem of grasping and judging the relationship between works of art and philosophical theories, as well as the problem of analysing works of art.
