International perspective – three reading surveys of the year 2021

Abstract
In this article, I would like to review three surveys of reading from the past year: a French-, a Spanish- and an English investigation. These studies are certainly worth to overview them because of their recentness, and also because they concern the young age group and refer to some of the changes that are brought by the COVID-situation. The focus of this essay is on specific issues and practices that could be used in the surveys of reading habits among children in Hungary.
