Uses and Forms of Anglicisms in Contemporary Advertising Discourse
Main Article Content
Abstract
Although anglicisms entered the advertising discourse in the Romance Languages quite some time ago, they continue to penetrate this discourse in the Travel and Tourism sector due to the internationalization of the brands and their communications, the value of creativity and original style in the advertising genre, and moreover, the emphasis placed on digital marketing for the millennial market. To investigate the modern uses and forms of anglicisms, we studied examples of their application in the advertising discourse of the Passenger Railroad Transportation sector in Spain and France.
