Mária Adamik, Eötvös Loránd University

Adamik, Mária Sociologist, Senior Research Fellow in the Faculty of Social Sciences, Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest. Her research interests include social policy, human resources, sociology of the family, and gender studies. In the 1980s she was responsible for the accreditation and organization of university curricula for the BA and MA degrees in policy studies and social work. After the transition in Hungary she was co-founder of the NGO, Feminist Network (1990) and of the help line, Ombudswoman (1991). She also founded the Gender Studies Reserach Center, ELTE, Budapest, and participated in the development of an international MA in Social Policy in Urban Areas (Amszterdam-PTE, IGYFK 2005-2008, ELTE 2008-2009). Erzsébet Barát, University of Szeged

Barát, Erzsébet is Associate Professor in the Department of English, University of Szeged and Recurring Visiting Associate Professor in the Department of Gender Studies, Central European University, Vienna since 2000. She holds a PhD in Linguistics from Lancaster University, UK. She is director of the ‘Gender through literatures and cultures in English’ specialization in the English Studies MA and founding Editor-in-Chief of the (only) Hungarian e-journal, TNTeF: Interdisciplinary Journal of Gender Studies. Her research interests include feminist critical theory, relational models of identity, the relationship between language, power and ideology, the intersection of feminist and queer theories, and language and sexuality. Anikó Gregor, Eötvös Loránd University

Gregor, Anikó Sociologist, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, ELTE Budapest. She holds a PhD in Sociology from ELTE, Budapest and an MA in Gender Studies from CEU. She teaches qualitative and quantitative research methodology seminars, and introductory lectures in the sociology of gender relations at undergraduate, graduate, and PhD levels, in Hungarian and English. Between 2015 and 2021, she organized the Gender Studies MA program in Hungarian at ELTE. In her research, she focuses on the effects of neoliberalization on gender relations in East-Central Europe.
