Author Biography

Andrea Tóth, University of Szeged

Andrea Tóth is a Junior Assistant Professor at the Department of English Studies, University of Szeged. She holds MA degrees in English Language and Literature, Communication Studies, and Sociology from the University of Szeged. She defended her Ph.D. dissertation in 2017 at the University of Szeged. Her PhD research was sponsored by the Slovak-Hungarian Bilateral Governmental Scholarship, Balassi Institute, Budapest. She is member of TNT, the Gender Studies Research Group, University of Szeged, and a journal editor in the Interdisciplinary e-Journal of Gender Studies. Her main research fields include the East European reception of Western feminist theories, the current state of feminism in Hungary, feminist and queer narratology, and contemporary fibre art.
