Stratégiai szimulációk = Strategic simulations
Main Article Content
Abstract
A strategic simulation game is a practical way to teach economics for university students. This paper discusses why these simulations are useful in education and what positive learning outcomes they provide. A research was taken at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics which compared three strategic simulations between 2007–2011 and it was repeated in 2017. Comparisons of the simulations and the two time periods are shown in this paper in respect of improving different skills like group work, overview on strategy, planning and analysing skills, financial and mathematic knowledge, decision making. The research is compared with another thirdparty research that used the same questionnaire. Discussion of how much the BSC simulation increases understanding of the connection of the functional areas in a company is also shown.
