Termelőüzemek energiahatékonyságának vizsgálata a képesség-érettség függvényében = Investigation of manufacturing plants' energy efficiency in the context of capability-maturity
Main Article Content
Abstract
This paper investigates the relationship between energy efficiency and selfassessed
capability-maturity levels of 71 manufacturing plants of a global
consumer goods company using quantitative analysis techniques. The key research
question of this paper is that which capabilities have decisive roles in plants' energy
efficiencies. Factor analysis has been applied to calculate an aggregate capabilitymaturity
score and the correlation with energy efficiency has been computed to measure the strength of the relationship. It was revealed that plant maturity level has strong correlation to plant energy efficiency. The results also show a strong internal correlation between the individual capability areas, suggesting that plants tend to develop their capabilities simultaneously.
