Abstract

In the recent years the expression of shared service center (SSC) has gained popularity on the job market. Owing to the market changes vast majority of companies exploit the opportunities provided by the informational technology and services in order to execute certain tasks from one central location. The primary motivation behind these business decisions is to reduce operational costs and generate the highest maximum profit. Human resources management of SSC models is unique. The organizational culture and development, proper resource management and human capital investment are not the major focus in their strategy. As a result of this in shared service center business models voluntary employee turnover is higher than in any other companies. The article concentrates on the customer support analyst department of a shared service center in Hajdú-Bihar County where reasons of employee turnover are analyzed on the basis of exit interviews.
