Abstract

Nowadays in Hungary there are several changes in the government sector. The district offices are the old-new actor of this structure.These offices have past and future, but in the present their work raises questions. All of the major offices in Hungary have to rethink their functions because of the changing legal environment, stenosis financial conditions. The district government offices have been created from the parts of the major office, thereby one became two office. Examining organizational development perspective is presented the changing legal environment, the past of the district offices, and the example of the changes in the major office Gödöllő in the publication.
