Main Article Content
Abstract
In our study, we undertake to present the most important international and domestic processes in the historical review of social responses to psychiatric patients, which are embodied in the assessment of patients, changes in the applied therapeutic approach and institutional care. We cover the most important changes affecting the institutional system, the community approach and the content of deinstitutionalization. We will present the evolution of supported decision- making and supported housing, and we would like to outline possible future development directions with a domestic good practice and the presentation of the National Mental Health Program.
