Domestic Violence as a Phenomenon Leading to Female Subordinacy and Family Dysfunctions

Abstract

In this study, a specific case of abuse is analyzed through a specific case study. Social approaches to violence are mostly concerned with extreme and unequivocal manifestations of abuse, however, the aim of this study is to draw attention to the hidden forms of abuse that lead to female subordination. Based on the examined case, it can be said that the hidden conflicts and problems within the family can influence the mental state of the victim, and effect the living conditions and socialization of the indirect victims.
