Abstract

The study provides a brief general conceptual and interpretive framework for the narrow segment of generational theories. It covers the characteristics of children in the digital generation that result from a changed social background and an increase in the amount of information available. After discussing this issue, the study presents the conceptual definition of media pedagogy, media literacy and information literacy and the parallels between the concepts.
Finally, in connection with the media pedagogy course, we can also get an answer to the opinion of students of social pedagogy about this issue within the framework of a questionnaire survey.
