Abstract
The paper discusses the potentials of Rational Emotive Education for educators. It exam-ines the characteristics of emotional disorders and the steps of cognitive intervention. It makes a distinction between emotional disorders and practical problems and offers solu-tions to both for children and young people who are approached by educational special-ists in this manner.
