My Two Homelands The comparison of Simái Mihály's poem titled Találkozások and József Attila's Hazám for Hungárián Literature teachers

Abstract

The study is about the contemporary poet Simái Mihály's poem published in 2012, titled Találkozások (Meetings), which contains a language and literature analysis. The linguist, culturo-ecologist author of this study claims the poem to be on pair with the best of Hun-gárián poetry, and alsó recommends being a mandatory part of the High School Curricu-lum. The analysis shows how the compressing nature and melodious laws of the Hungár-ián language tie in together with a special rich arsenal of poetry.
