About the Journal
In May 2020, in order to provide a framework for the multiple scientific activities at the Institute of Cultural Studies and to ensure the coherence of the quality and ethical standards of multidisciplinary research, the Institute's staff created a research group. The journal launched by the research team, which is published twice a year, aims to meet these objectives by providing a forum for the contributions of both national and international researchers.
The journal will be a forum for research in the following areas, in line with the profile of the research group:
- the theoretical and institutional background of cultural mediation, the theory and practice of community organisation
- history of culture and cultural politics
- minority, national, European and cultural identities
- research in library pedagogy, sociology of reading, digitalisation, knowledge management
- social and economic context of education, education politics, research on adult education and higher education
The journal is supported by a Scientific Advisory Board, composed of distinguished experts in their field.
