Abstract
In the following source, you can read the Hungarian translation of the seventh letter of the fourth book of Angelo Poliziano’s correspondence (Epistulae 4, 7), which he wrote to Antonio Pizzamano, humanist from Venice, who, together with his wealthier friend and also patron, Domenico Grimani, visited him and Giovanni Pico della Mirandola, making fun of the two good friends from Florence. The two pranksters hardly wanted to reveal their true identities even when they left, and Poliziano throws this prank in Pizzamano’s eyes, also jokingly.
