An Italian Farsa Presented at the Wedding Celebration’s of Queen Beatrix of Aragon (Naples, 1476)

Abstract
The article contains the first Hungarian publication and translation of an Italian language text, which was presented, with all probablity, at the per procuram wedding celebrations of Beatrix of Aragon with King Matthias Corvinus. The first part of the article argues for 1476 as the date of presentation of the work. Its second part sheds new light on some statements of Albert Berzeviczy, first and so far only monographer of Queen Beatrix, regarding Beatrix’s coronation in Naples and its legitmacy according to the Neapolitan and the Hungarian customary law.
