"Kiút az állástalanságból?" : a foglalkoztatást segítő fejlesztési programok és a munkaerő-piaci folyamatok összefüggései a Dél-alföldi régióban = "A way out of unemployment?" : correlations of employment-fostering training programs and labour market trends in the Dél-Alföld Region

Absztrakt

In my dissertation I discuss unemployment in general and in the Dél-AlfÖld
Region in details, and I present the Hungarian strategies and projects for handling
unemployment, such as TÁMOP. I focus on TÁMOP 1.1.2, that is labour market
oriented training program fostering employment. My research objective was to see
whether the trainings offered by the local labour offices are in accordance with the
local labour demand. Thus, I compared the trainings with the job vacancies in BácsKiskun,
Békés and Csongrád Counties. I concluded that the trainings are basically
in accordance with the labour demand, but there are some training programs that
do not result in qualifications demanded by the employees. To make the picture
complete, I analyzed the business orientation (main activity) of all the employers
of the region, and compared it with the trainings. I concluded that there are several
trainings related to those branches of business local employers are engaged in.
Thus, we must say that with completing a training one has a good chance to get employed.
