These days, the challenges in the public sector press the higher education institutions to change their attitude. Customers and quality are gaining more attention in their operations. The adaptation of process management systems that ensure these outcomes has just started. The identification and management of the organizational processes is crucial for their effective functioning. I prove the applicability of process-oriented theory and present shortly the market leader process-management software and its utilization. Taking all this into consideration, it is suggested to continue the process mapping at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics started with MEGA Process which would open up new perspectives in operation-development.
