A tudás- és technológiatranszfer értelmezése: technológia, vagy tudástranszfer?

Absztrakt

The main objective of this paper is to analyze the various definitions of knowledge, technology, knowledge transfer and technology transfer by reviewing the available literature and to create a new definition of technology transfer from a different point of view. It also seeks to answer the question whether these definitions could be used as synonyms. It outlines that knowledge is a much wider category than technology, nevertheless from the technology transfer point of view they are equal. The results of an own research conducted amongst Hungarian TTOs are also introduced, confirming that there is no common understanding of technology transfer. Despite all these, this paper concludes that technology transfer means the utilization of research results in businesses.
